I will now make my pre-Spring Training picks on the Regular Season. I will not be showing any bias in these picks, but what I believe will happen. I am interested how good I am at predicting.

I have to admit the pics look good from top to bottom with the acception of the NL central. I do not think that the astros are going to win it. I think that the Cubs are going to go back to back for the first time in my lifetime and then some. Lets see if they get out of the first round this time and not get swept by a team that has an enough youngsters that they had to use grape juice instead of champain last year in ther triumph of victory .
You can tell it was a true Cubs fan making comment #1. They always think they are better than they are. At least Sox fans are more realistic, we know we have alot of question marks. Sox starting pitching from #3 to #5 is a unknown anything can happen we just hope the additions to our relief will help us and we are weak at 2nd base and center field. If your not strong up the middle your pitching will suffer. Catching also is a problem even though they will be good offensively they will have trouble throwing runners out. If the kid from Cuba pans out at 2nd and Owens plays good defense and can hit 275 maybe they can contend for 2nd place and sneak into the wildcard, and for the Cubs they are who we thought they are (Thank you Coach Green for those words) the lovable losers.
my predictions for baseball 2008
-santo will be unable to say fukadome with being fined but the FCC
-whoever buys the cubs will build a mega stadium in naperville and sell wrigley field to white sox who will finally get out of chicago's cell of a field
-the best hitter and pitcher of my era (bonds and clemens) are replaced with a rod and pedro
-the world series will be won by the american league again
-mlb players of all kinds give steriods to there wifes and say look what it did to clemens wife!!
-the cubs change the groundscrew into scantily clad women similar to the ice girls at blackhawks games
-the white sox fire all tv and radio announcers and games are televised in complete silence( ratings go thru roof)
